Zinan Zhang

Hi, I'm Zinan Zhang! Just call me Zina :). 

I'm a Ph.D. candidate in the Health and Play Lab at Penn State University, where I'm fortunate to be advised by Dr. Yubo Kou. I earned my B.S. in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University in 2022.

My research sits at the intersection of online safety, human-computer interaction (HCI), computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW), and usable security and privacy. I’m currently focused on designing safer online gaming environments for players of all ages.
